Australia has agreements with certain countries - also known as Gazetted Countries. If you are a citizen of a Gazetted Country, it will be much easier to apply for a student visa. Students from Non-Gazetted Countries will usually be required to obtain a "Favourable Genuiness Assessment" from the Australian Embassy in their respective country of residence before applying to the educational institution for acceptance.

Australia Visa for students can only be granted if you wish to undertake a registered course or part of a registered course on a full-time basis which is registered by an Australian education provider registered with the Australian Government.
